Now that I've seen the pics of him paired with your girl, I'd say he's almost definitely from the highlands near Wamena. If he was a Cyclops, he wouldn't still look like this. Good luck with the pairing. -p-

This is a beautiful chondro, but I assure you it's not an Aru. Southern types (Aru, Merauke, etc.) always hatch yellow, and this animal was undoubtedly a "red" neonate (most likely dark maroon or brown). The "mite phasing" says highland type. I'd say Wamena or Cyclops. I assume this is not an adult, right? If it's captive bred, there's no telling about the specific lineage, but it definitely has northernh mainland blood. Nevertheless, he is a gorgeous GTP! -p-
