Also the male that I am pairing her up with is from a melanistic lineage, but if I don't produce any melanistic I think that they will in fact have some unusual patterns and colors. I have this pairing on the breeding projects, and am very excited for this next season.

I have consulted with another breeder that has produced some melanisic offspring, and his animals that produce melanistic offspring have the all black bellies, and very dark saddles identical to this girl. I don't know if she will in fact have any melanistic offspring, but I think that she has a good chance seeing the results of his breedings with like animals.
