| Finally getting her to eat! Heat the rat up, lay it in the middle of her tub facing whichever hide she's under, and it's gone in the morning. I'm one happy snake momma :) |

| Has been acting very interested whenever she smells rat so I decided to give a bigger size a go. Either she's finally accepting she's going to have to eat F/T or she's just really hungry but either way the rat I left in her tub was gone this morning :D |

| Yep, there's something about the tongs. I fed her first and got there before she came out of her hide; I had the rat 'sneak out' from behind her water bowl and she made quick work of it. |

| I think I've figured out what her problem has been. The tongs totally throw her off. She was really interested in the rat when I pulled out her tub but the second I set it down and started wiggling it with the tongs she totally lost interested in the rat and fixated on the tongs. I finally got her to eat by pushing the rat's front end past her hide while I kept the tongs low and hidden behind it so I could still make the rat move. She hit that thing in 3 secs flat, wrapped it, and drug it back under her hide(as best she could) to eat. YAY! |
