| Tail tip has mostly dried up and fallen off. The "new" tip still appears black...waiting to see if new skin tissue grows in. |

| Tip of animal's tail was quite obviously necrotic upon arrival. Possible causes include poor shed or bite injury. Treatment for the wound will simply be to keep an eye on it and not allow the enclosure to become too moist. I am hopeful that the necrosis will envelop only the damaged tissue and at that point, dry up and drop off. Fingers crossed... |
