11/22/14	Feeding	(2) Rat - Small		doesnt seem to have any issue taking frozen thawed. Is only getting the second rat after the female butter refused hers.

11/16/14	Feeding	First feed		First time feeding in my care. Had always been feed live rats previously. Last feed was said to be 11/9. I de thawed two small rats with the intent of trying both snakes. The female refused. This guy ignored it the first offer. Blasted the rat to heat it up and tried again. He struck twice but did not wrap. The third time I gave a bit more resistance and he wrapped. Took the mouse headfirst and showed some silly behavior eating it. He does have very minor spider issues but it was very very small. He took the second day about 10 mins after the first was down. He stuck the second rat and wrapped immediately although ate the rat backward. He of course had issues with the hing leg of the rat and ended up eating the rat in a ball. He managed eventually and everything seems fine. Very pleased with him. I feared he wouldn't take f/t so readily.
11/15/14	Shed	Shed		First shed in care. Mostly one large piece with a few smaller separated chunks. There was a section of retained shed on his chin although I am convinced he had just shed (within the past half hour) and it was not a convern. The retained shed dried up and was found shortly after. There appeared to be a very small amount blood on the substrate(paper towels), the only source I could find was a slight tear? on his cloaca. Will monitor. Changed substrate.
