01/12/18	Comments	Temperature and Humidity		After speaking with the experienced python guy at Aqua Terra, I decided to increase the temperature on the UTH a little bit - up to 93 degrees. He also suggested not using the red light at night, so I'm going to use that during the day, and switch to a "moonlight" bulb at night. (I'm afraid that without any supplemental heat at all, the temperature will drop down too much overnight). So far, so good. Humidity at around 75%, which seems a bit high, but I'm going to wait a couple of days to see where everything stabilizes with this new setup.

01/11/18	Comments	Temperature and Humidity		Switched overhead bulb to 65 watt infrared bulb, hoping to increase the temperature a little bit. With UTH still set at 90F, the ambient temperature (cool side of tank) is now up to about 73F, with the humidity around 70%. I'd like to try and get it just a bit warmer.
01/10/18	Comments	Temperature and Humidity		Installed ambient thermometer/hygrometer today. With UTH set at 90F (as measured by bottom of tank sensor on the thermostat), the ambient temperature is stabilizing at around 71F.
01/09/18	Comments	UTH: 90 degrees		Set up the UTH today, and set the temperature to 90 degrees F, with a thermostat to stabilize the temperature. We're also using a low-wattage black light overhead, to add a bit more ambient heat. No hygrometer yet, so not sure what the humidity is doing.
