| Fire in the hole! Back on her normal size meals, and she took that peach fuzz with gusto. I think she's gonna make it! |

| I brought her out of the incubator where she'd been isolated and put her back into her quarantine tub. She decided to try and kill me while I did it. Still gonna observe her closely but she seems like she's doing alright. |

| Yesterday was the first day I avoided "treating" her. As of this posting, it's been 24 hours since she completed treatment. I'm observing; if she's okay, I will try feeding Friday. |

| She's been "hunting" all day, pacing her tub acting like she's starving. Considering how much weight she has already lost, I elected to feed her a pinky instead of try to give her a peach fuzzy, or wait til Friday. To my delight, she ate! Happy birthday to me! |

| She has lost some weight during this illness, but not as much as expected. She did defecate, but she's been off feed over a month - I'm honestly impressed. I think she'll take the first time I offer as well. |

| Turned her temps down from 90 to 88 experimentally, to see how she handled it. So far, so good. Still looking like she's making a strong recovery. |

| Her tongue tines are no longer stuck together and she hasn't open-mouth breathed in ages. Looks like this nebulizing of tylosin is actually going to work to treat her. I'm shocked, but really happy. |

| As small as she is, I am not capable of giving her injections. What I've elected to do is nebulize antibiotics using a human nebulizer (100% clean and new - she's the only one getting to use it) once a day. I leave her in 20 minutes, then turn it off and let her breathe that in for another 20. I have never heard of anyone doing this but I HAVE heard of people using F10 to nebulize to success. I am hoping that this will actually work since the antibiotic is one that is frequently nebulized. She does seem to be showing signs of improving, as I have not seen her open mouth breathe at all in over 48 hours. She does still click, but maybe this will work? |

| I suspected something might be up when I got her because there was extra saliva when she bit me; seems like shipping + going into shed may have triggered a latent illness. I isolated her and began treatment. |
