| Back the last 2 weeks of may Dahlia kicked the last egg out and wouldnt take it back. We set up an emergency incubation system. The egg itsself was going flat. Through the following weeks we did everything we could. On the 8th the flies were trying to get to it and flat was not the word for it. We candled it and there was no movement and nothing to be seen. We cut open the egg to find a little bumble bee perished with organs trying to mesh through the side of its body. |

| Have 2 confirmed slugs at this time and the boob egg has died. Thought it had mold on it but when it was removed for cleaning it was smelling hard and discolored with maggots on it. We have 1 remaining good egg that we are fighting dehydration with. |

| We have possibly 4 eggs. one of them is smaller and off colored but she has not pushed it from the nest. one is HUGE! We are letting her maternially incubate this clutch and here comes the wait! |

| We have changed her substrate to Cypress. I keep it misted daily. She has had much fun burrowing and making a mess of it. |

| Just this week we have noticed the "glow" effect with Dahlia. She looks all faded and hypo now. About the 15th or so she got the swell, like she had eaten an oversized rat. We took pictures but they just don't do the events justice and you can't really make out whats going on in the photos. |

| Time for a little break. LB is showing signs of a possible shed coming on and both have been "hunting". So gonna give them a week off and see what comes of it. Felt of dahlia today but since its our first time breeding I'm not sure of what I'm feeling. Personally it feels like nothing atm. |
