I haven't said much about that whole story because I'm sure my feelings on it are slightly different than most of you but there's a few updates.  I gotta say that lady in virginia is an idiot though I'm sure she means well but she's not doing anything right from what it shows in that story.

I don't know that she is an idiot as much as someone with good intentions that has gotten in over her head. Maybe that makes her an idiot to you, meh. She has written about how overwhelmed she is on Facebook and acknowledged how "not by the book this whole operation has been" they are making the best with little resources and little notice.

I'm not sure what they expected to find in a wholesalers warehouse...they are never pleasant. The behind closed doors of any pet trade is not pleasant but reptiles who are not cute and fuzzy and don't have huge million dollar anti abuse campaigns and are imported by the thousands on the theory that enough survive to make a profit, they are the least pleasant of all.

I gotta say I'm glad it didn't happen any closer to where I live cuz I'd probably have tubs on shelves in my living room to try and help as many of those poor animals as I could.

If you know her have her get up with me if she hasn't placed those things especially the turtles.  I've kept thousands of turtles at a time and they will die the way she is keeping them she has to spur them into hibernation unles sshe can move them quick.
