My Reptile Interests
|
|
My name is Hannah and I'm 19 years old. I have been collecting reptiles since a very young age. I started by catching small fence lizards and yard snakes in my backyard, until I was old enough to care for an actual pet. My first reptile was a veiled chameleon named Franky, I then got into panther chameleons, bearded dragons, leopard geckos, monitors, skinks, uromastyx, turtles, and finally bought my first snake last year at the Daytona show. I started breeding leopard geckos and bearded dragons at the age of 10, and I'm now currently attempting to create some bumble bee ball pythons. =)

Other Interests

Being a Florida girl I spend a lot of time at the beach or the pool. I love the sun. I also go in the field quite often to hunt for some cool looking critters. I love photography, so this also gives me a chance to take some nice shots of nature. I'm also a big nerd; I love to read. =X

Music

|
I love all types of music, though I'm not a huge fan of rap. My all time favorite type of music has to be county. I don't play in a band.. though some songs sound like the actual artist has never played either. Who knows maybe I am good at it?

Movies
|
|
Since I am a girl, I do love chick flicks. I also like scary movies, and anything that can make me laugh. Some of my favorite movies are Man In The Moon, Jarhead, My Life, What Dreams May Come, Stop-Loss, All of the Pirates movies. I also danced for 15 years so I'm a sucker for broadway movies such as Chicago, Hairspray, Rent, and so on.

Professional

I'm a full time college student majoring in Veterinary. After I get my degree in Veterinary, I hope to study herpetology for a few years. By the time I graduate college I should be 150 years old. I would love to open my own reptile shop and also run a vet clinic in it. I know herp vets charge an arm and a leg (sometimes even an ear or big toe) for a simple check up. I (hopefully) won't have to. =)

I'm normally a pretty laid back person and easy to get along with. I cant stand drama and I try to avoid it, so if your life is full of it I'll most likely avoid you too. I'm engaged to a US Marine and I am USMC crazy. We are currently surviving our first deployment. So please excuse any crankyness. =)
