My Reptile Interests
|

I keep snakes, although I've kept geckos in the past as well. I've been keeping and breeding reptiles for several years now. 2010 and 2011 have been very hard years for me, and have taken a toll on me. I've always prided myself on knowing what's best for my animals... for that reason, I made the decision to seek new homes for the majority of my animals. It was not a decision I made lightly, and I will always check in with the owners of those animals, and eagerly wait for pictures to see how they're doing. Breeding was one of the greatest joys I enjoyed while owning snakes, but it didn't outshine the joy of just owning my favorite few snakes, which is how I selected the few I still own and keep. Hopefully through the coming weeks, months and years, my health can improve enough to start slowly increasing numbers again, but I don't anticipate again owning numbers like I once did. It's hard letting go of the wonderful animals I once had the pleasure of keeping, but at least I know that they're in the best possible homes, with the best possible keepers...

For fun, I like to spend time with friends and families going to movies, eating out, hanging out, and having a good time. I'm a science nerd, so getting together with some classmates can always bring about some really nerdy, interesting conversations about the newest health developments :)
