My Reptile Interests
We've been adding to and breeding our Ball Python, Corn Snake and King Snake collection since approximately 2010. Years ago, Eric raised Reticulated and Burmese Pythons as well as Redtail Boas. We prefer to admire Burmese and Reticulateds in other people's collections since they get too large and have a tendancey for agression. We decided to end breeding Retail Boas, Short Tail Pythons and Rainbow Boas too for size reasons as well. We don't field herp but incidentally and occasionally we'll find Garters, Gophers, King Snakes and yes, Rattle Snakes on or around our acreage. We usually don't keep them if we catch them at all, but the short-term capture of a Garter Snake lead to why we keep Boas & Pythons. Cynthia didn't really know that she liked snakes until we kept that lil snake for about two months and had to go to a local reptile store (LLL Reptile, Menifee, California) to get mice for it. Once inside the store Cynthia began to admire Ball Pythons and it snowballed from there. Yes, we released the lil' Garter Snake back into the wild after fattening him up a bit. Along the way we met and befriended 'Tom Baker' the creator of the 'Crystal Ball Python', Tiger Fire Ball Python and the Special Ball Python along with other world-first morphs. We have also befriended Mike Roscoe of Sanfire Reptiles / Roscoe's Reptiles. Susan Hardy (Hardy Reptiles) was also a friend who has created about six additional world-first morphs and has also mentored us here and there. Susan created the Blitz and Vertigo Ball Python morphs to name a couple.
Other Interests
Fresh & Saltwater fishing, Mountain Bike riding, Snow Skiing, Nitro-fuelled Remote Controlled Buggy & Truggie racing, Restoring & Fabricating various items and Military Simulation Airsoft Weaponary Events, NFL (Go CHARGERS!). NASCAR Cynthia loves # 24, Jeff Gordon! Eric thinks Jimmie Johnson, #48 Rocks!
Music
Its a much shorter list to mention the Categories we don't like, such as Blues & Jazz. Most everthing else we like or can handle / tolerate. Eric prefers Classic and Heavy Metal Rock, while Cynthia likes Alternative, Underground & Top 40's.
Movies
Eric mostly likes: Action, Adventure, Mystery, Drama, Sci-Fi, etc. But he won't watch Horror, Chic Flicks, Foreign, Old-time or 'B' rated movies! Two of his Favorites are Tombstone & Heat. Cynthia is pretty much the same with the exception of Chic-Flicks, she loves that. Her favorite movies are: Sound of Music, Interview with a Vampire and the Twilight series.
Professional
Cynthia works for Amazon but used to run Multi-Million dollar Construction Company's offices. Eric is a retired 26 year Private Investigator. Both of us are U.S. Army Desert Storm Veterans.
