My Reptile Interests
|
|
I currently own one 5 month old Columbian Red Tailed Boa, and shes eating great and doing great.
I also like to go out and hunt for water moccasins, cotton mouths, copper heads, garden snakes, and other reptiles that I find facinating out at the conservation land that is for public use. I love to teach my children about the dangers of these snakes and understand the need that teaching leads to something better than fear.

I like to take out my Border Collie/Blue Heeler Zoe to the park and run her ragged chasing after her favorite frisbee.
I love to pamper my two cats (who are rescues!), in the house, as they are big, fat and adorable.
I also have Russian Dwarf Hamsters and mice (most of the mice are used as food though =/), and love them all.

I have a lot of favorite bands, do not play any instruments and only listen to Slash/2 podcast (which is a very adult podcast, you were warned).

I am not in school, I am looking to start my own business with some snakes, but im keeping those details to myself.
My livelihood is my job.
I work as an Assistant Animal Control Officer for the Nevada MO Animal Shelter.
I love taking care of the many pets that we get in through there, and its such a joy to walk into the kennel (whether it stinks or not!), and see all the happy wagging tails and faces.
I also get tons of kisses while im at work and that is the best thing ever.
I also love getting cats and dogs adopted out. It makes me warm and fuzzy inside.
