My Reptile Interests

47 years experience with numerous types of herps and other exotic creatures. Currently, I have 1 adult carpet python, 2 juvenile carpet pythons, 1 ball python, a black and white tegu, a red footed tortoise, and 2 native colubrids, caught on field herping trips this year.
I' have kept both venomous and non-venomous species.
I'm not a fan of Animal Planet, as I think they've changed their format to only air programs that sensationalize the stupidity of inexperienced and irresponsible herpers, as well as the cruel treatment of many herps (i.e. Rattlesnake Republic). I prefer to watch NatGeo Wild.
