My Reptile Interests

Hi, my name is Geno. I have 6 snakes. 1 juvenile
Elaphe o. quadrivittata or yellow rat. 1 Elaphe g. guttata or red rat. 1 Piuophis catenifer sayi or bull snake. 1 Lampropeltis getula floridana; amelanistic Brook's king snake. 1 Python regius; Ball or Royal python. Not a morph, just a large female who I adopted from a pet store. The previous owner neglected her very badly. My last but not least is a Corallus enydris or Amazon Tree Boa. Not the most breath taking collection, but it is mine and I love all of them. I have not yet attempted to breed, but with the help and shared knowledge from all of you I think I can be on my way very soon.
I do go field herping all the time and I hate winter do to the inactivity of herps I am looking for. King snakes are by far my favorite snakes to date. I catch venomous snakes as well. I love the feeling of being miles in the Florida wilderness. It's great to be free to do those things.
I have kept reptiles for close to 25 years. It seems that every herp story as a child starts with a Garter snake and that was the case with me as well. The rest is history.

Other Interests

|
For fun I play all sort of sports. I hike, try new foods, and hunt with a bow and arrow or cross bow. I use firearms as well. I fish and shrimp and gather clams and oysters for fun and food. I have recently become interested in planting vegetables, herbs, and other non-edibles. That is fun as well.

Music

|
WOW, favorite bands........I try to listen to alittle bit of everything out there accept Mexican Polka, any Polka for that matter.

Movies
|
|
My favorite director is Quinten Tarintino. I like any movie that has lots of action and visually stunning graphics. Not to say that I don't like a good tear jerking drama would be to lie like a dog.
