My Reptile Interests

Got into reptiles a couple of years ago (2011, I think) when my bf and I bought our first tortoise. They are amazing and couldnt help falling for the little guys. After that we started adding to our little family a bit at a time. Then one day I went to pick up a tank I had bought off craigslist and held a lavender corn they were also selling. Loved him from the start and brought him home with me :) Ive always liked snakes, but not since I was a little kid did I seriously consider owning one. But I just enjoyed having him so much. Now, while I love all reptiles, my main interests are snakes (especially corns and BRB's) and tortoises. My fav tortoises are the Russians, Leopards and Aldabras, tho for now we only own the Russians (small appartment lol). But eventually we would love to get more :)

I love to read and listen to audio books. I enjoy getting outside and hiking and like to go to the conservation parks around here. And I am a Sims addict haha. Thats usually what I do when I'm home...listen to a book while playing Sims 3 :)

Honestly, I listen to just about everything. I've got a mix of all kinds of genres, and I have no problem putting my iphone on shuffle and listening to whatever comes up. Could be listening to Rob Zombie one song, then Taylor Swift the next, then might come a Celtic Women song. I only usually pick what genres I like if I'm in a certain mood.

I love all types of animals. We've got a bit of a zoo at home. Along with the reptiles we've got cats, ferrets, pet mice, pet rats, pet gerbils and my sister has a couple of pet hamsters :) I love my little zoo, it's a bit chaotic sometimes, but it's never boring!
