My Reptile Interests
|
|
I began keeping reptiles only a short year and a half ago. My boyfriend and I were in a local pet store that kept a lot of reptiles. We browsed around a bit before stopping and watching a tiny, baby chameleon crawl upside-down on the screen lid. My boyfriend thought the little guy was just the most interesting thing (I did too, but that's a secret :)) and, so, we came home with a new reptile that day. Ever since then, our collection just keeps growing.
We keep veiled chameleons, bearded dragons, crested geckos, a leachianus, and a blue-tongued skink. As I've heard so many times before, we started off with one and just couldn't stop.

Other Interests

Other than being a reptile enthusiaist, I am an avid reader and writer. When I have free time I am usually doing one or the other. I love to paint, although I'm not very good at it. The same goes for drawing. I'm a decent photographer. I like getting on the internet. I like to play video games and board games. I'm really into movies, but that's probably because I was deprived of them as a child. Being weird is something I'm excellent at, but I don't really think you can call that an interest.
To make this short, I like doing anything and everything creative or out of the ordinary.

I am currently attending college. I am an English Major. I hope to become a managing and acquisitions editor at a publishing house someday. They're the ones that get to read the manuscripts and work with the authors. I also want to try my hand at writing a novel and getting it published.
