My Reptile Interests
|
|
I started messing with herps as a kid catching salamanders and garter snakes. I have always loved the reptile house at the zoo. Funny that I didn't really discover my love for keeping herps until 2 years ago or so. Most of my experience is with snakes, but have recently branched off and bought a gecko that is awesome!

Other Interests

|
I enjoy watching movies, playing board games, video games, and reading when Im at home. I love to travel though, and would nearly year round if I could. Too bad traveling doesnt usually pay the bills. I love camping, and being a "WilderDude." I also like to cook, and consider myself a pretty good one.

Music

I grew up listening to just about everything. If you look through my Ipod you will find everything from Incubus, Garth Brooks, Ice Cube, Thrice, Sublime, 311, Queen, Billy Joel, Elton John... i could go on and on.
I play the Ukulele, but not very well... mainly do to lack of motivation haha. I learned a handful of songs, and am content playing/singing them over and over, which doesnt seem to annoy anyone at all /wink.

Movies

|
A few of my favorite movies would be The Count of Monte Cristo, Pulp Fiction, Alice in Wonderland the cartoon (strange I know), Fight Club, Snatch, and loads and loads of horror movies. Horror movies are kind of my thing, especially zombie movies.
I would love to hang out with John Travolta and/or Brad Pitt. Maybe every day for a summer or something.

I have an AAS in Computer and Electronics Engineering Technology (a mouthful I know). I am currently work at a medical devices company that builds laser systems and accessories for eye surgeries.

Last summer I sailed to Fiji... We didnt quite make it; we were short by about 40 days. I guess you could say I sailed toward Fiji. Either way, it was an awesome experience that I will never forget (thanks Sailor Stu)

Books:
My favorite book is Job: a Comedy of Justice. If you havent read it, you need to. Stop reading this, leave the computer, and go buy it now. I like many other books spanning many genres, including The Count of Monte Cristo, the whole Dark Tower series, and the Song of Ice and Fire series (nope, never seen the tv show).
