My Reptile Interests

My ultimate goal is to successfully keep and breed black milksnakes, skinks (mostly blue tongue), and boas. I'm also in love with womas and various gecko species. Not much of a turt/tort girl but speckled padlopers and homes hingebacks have my heart.

I have an interest in digital photography and am incredibly addicted to budget traveling. I have a funky sunglasses collection. I love to be outside whether that's fishing, kayaking, or hiking. I took a Firearms Training course in college and fell in love with it, though I don't get to shoot often.

I volunteered at the Utila Iguana Research and Breeding Station in Honduras while taking a 3 month backpacking trip down Central America in Fall 2011, and got to work with an amazing endemic specie of iguana. I also greatly enjoy walking around reptile expos and field herping. I have a B.S. in Wildlife and spent many projects in the field trapping and marking turtles and frogs (along with handling black bear cubs, banding wood ducks, marking/recapturing rodents, etc.)
