My Reptile Interests
I've always really wanted to keep snakes, even when I was little, but I didn't have the opportunity to keep until about... 2007? MY first snake ever was a kingsnake, but I quickly took up corns, and have owned a few on and off for a while, to this point, now, where I have two corns, a milk, a rat, and a boa (who tricked me into buying her only a couple days ago with her prettiness). I would rather keep a pretty snake (colorful, vibrant, unique), over something large and bulky any day.
Other Interests
My interests are many and few in between, but as a student, finding time, motivation, and money for them all is a trick I have yet to get used to. I have been playing bass guitar for a few years, now, and trying to find a way to play it much like a person would play a piano, I draw, I read, but most of my time is consumed by writing (fiction, primarily). I desperately want to get into film, but how or when I have no idea, so I satisfy my cravings for unique stuff by going to film fests when I can.
Music
It's difficult and tiring for me to get into music, because I listen to so freaking much of it, lol. My favorite band has change three times in the past year, I believe. The two greatest bands that define me, I believe, are Warpaint and the Smashing Pumpkins. I listen, also, to Over the Rhine, Radiohead, the Mars Volta, Stevie Nicks, Nine Inch Nails, Metric, Broken Bells, Bjork, Midlake, Muse, so on and so forth. I refuse to tolerate a lot, however: country, rap, hip-hop, R&B, and pop are revolting to me. xP
Movies
I think my latest love is Scott Pilgrim. It pretty much speaks for itself.
