I am a stay-at-home mother of two. I am fascinated by fish and reptiles and have spent the past decade learning everything I could about them and I learn more, it seems, everyday.
I worked as a live stock manager for a local mom-n-pop style pet shop for about 5 years. I would probably still be working there if I hadn't become pregnant in 2004 and decided to put a hold on my "career" to spend more time with my new daughter. I had another child in 2007, a 6-week premature son, who is the complete opposite of his sister. I have no plans for going back to work anytime soon. I feel it's more important to spend as much time with my children as I can, at least while they're still so young.
I have a nice collection of reptiles that I've acquired over the years from various reptile shows and former customers at the pet shop. I'm a casual breeder. Seeing little heads pipping from eggs is incredible. I plan to be working primarily with corn snakes and ball pythons in years to come and hope to produce some beautiful morphs.
