My Reptile Interests
|
|
We keep 11 snakes and 6 lizards. We got our first reptile, a bearded dragon, in 2010. I used to love finding herps as a child, but somehow forgot about it as I grew up. Once my children started doing the same things as I had done as a child, I got back into it, and now we live for spring, summer, and fall when we can field herp whenever we can. Thankfully we live on land where herps are plentiful, but we do plan to travel somewhat this year (2015).

I like technology, I like knitting, I like shooting bow, I have tattoos (I have 2, maybe will get another one!), I like reading, being outdoors, listening to music ...

I used to play drums for church bands. My husband plays guitar, and we enjoy singing together.

|
Can't say I have a major favorite but I like comedy, adventure, and some drama. I guess I like most things but horror movies.

I am a homeschooling mom and a part-time receptionist at a vet clinic. I also do reptile educational programs through my workplace.

Herps make me feel like a kid again, being carefree and just enjoying a creature that is so amazing and different from you. It's like an honor to be able to interact with these animals that I have and also the herps that we find in the wild. That's why I'm here! This is my little diversion to the stress of life, and I love it.
