My Reptile Interests

I'm a late bloomer when it comes to herps. At the moment I only have one snake, my eyeless ball python, Nyx. She's my first pet reptile/amphibian (excluding catching frogs and turtles as a kid). I adopted her early September 2015 from a friend. My 10 year plan involves keeping a couple tarantulas, beardies, and other species of snakes, and maybe try my hand at breeding a couple. Oh, the plans I have!

Outside of the animal obsession, I like playing tennis, hiking, wood burning, and binge watching Netflix. Oh and I'm learning Spanish on the Duolingo app!

I am working as a research technician in tandem with earning a master's in Animal Reproduction at Ohio State University. Currently, I am focusing more on Asian elephant reproduction, but I have also worked with Eastern hellbenders quite a bit in the past.
