My Reptile Interests

Ever since I was a kid, I would watch The Crocodile Hunter, Discovery Channel, and Animal Planet. I would always go outside and look under rocks and in the trees for all sorts of little critters. It seemed like I always had some sort of animal in my room that I caught. Yet, it was just a few months ago, July 2009, that I began my journey with snakes (besides little garder snakes that I found). I bought 2 Ball Pythons, but one was sick (I got him frmo Petco..). I gave both back to Petco after being told that they had IBD(?). Just one week later, I was at a local reptile show here in Arlington and saw some beautiful Green Tree Pythons. I remembered seeing these guys on the front of a book called "VERDI" and how I had always wanted one. They were a bit expensive but I borrowed some money from a friend and took home a little yellow neo, Citrus. Today, about 4 months later, I now have 5 chondros, 3 carpets, and two diamonds and a black headed canary kid on the way.. For me, I've spent a ridiculous amount of money on these guys, but I love 'em to death so I guess it's worth it.
When it comes to these amazing critters, "This is my last one" never seems to actually happen..

Right now, I go to school full time and work full time. I work at a Dental Office in the Ortho department. I am majoring in Biology and plan on becoming a dentist. I used to wrestle in HS and after graduating, I began MMA training whenever I have free time. I do volunteer work for a youth group type deal called Young Life, which reaches out to HS kids and shows them there's a better life out there through Jesus Christ.
