My Reptile Interests

I bought my first Ball Python in 2003. I had had many reptiles before that as a child: lizards, frogs, geckos, etc. My parents, however, refused to let me have a snake, so I had to wait until moving out before I bought one. Since that time, I have had many, many snakes in my life... for three years in college, I ran a small reptile rescue out of my apartment. I would take in unwanted animals, rehabilitate them if necessary, and rehome them. I still take in animals from time to time, if necessary, though I have found it increasingly difficult to rehabilitate animals as I am building my career outside of reptiles. Despite that, I am planning on breeding leopard geckos and ball pythons in the future, and am looking forward to increasing my knowledge of the hobby.

I work... quite a bit. And, yes, it's an interest, because I enjoy what I do. I work as the manager for the Business Support Team. We are the backbone of my company, and I have an AWESOME team! I also LOVE to read, I write when I have the time, draw (pencil) when I get the urge, and, of course, just hang out with friends.
