My Reptile Interests

I've been keeping reptiles for about ten years. It started with a beautiful ball (I named Bindy Sue) that was injured and needed a home and rehabilitation... then the snowball effect took over. There was such a need for "reptile rescue and rehab" in our community that my home became a shelter. Since then, my boys and I have went to schools and events teaching children about the importance of proper reptile care. In Jan 2009, I had to put the rescue on hold but I'm hoping to be able to resume it in the future.
REPTILES... IT'S AN ADDICTION! We have 1.1 rescue Iguanas: El Guapo - The Handsome One and Reggie. 1.1 rescue Argentine Black and White Tegus named Yin and Yang... they're friggin beautiful! 1.1 rescue ball pythons: Agro and Shelia and 2.0 Bearded Dragons; Pyro was rescued and Serge is our old friend. We recently had to rehome our Savannah monitor, Bosco, to downsize =( One of the hardest things I've had to do thus far.

Other Interests

My boys, basketball, Lakers (don't hate), tattoos, piercings, fishing (stream and surf), Pow-Wows, coffee... sleep is overrated, reading, random writing, late night ice cream runs, Sam Adams, the sound of my boys laughing... sneakers on the hardwood during a game, woodworking/cage building, yard work and gardening, the smell of fresh cut grass... saw dust... and a clean cage.
