My Reptile Interests
|
|
I keep snakes mainly, large constrictors, and Tropical Arboreal mostly. I have experience as a zoo keeper at a local small privately owned zoo where I was in charge of the (sadly) small reptile collection. As well as the petting zoo. My actual title was Hoofstock Keeper and Camel Handler, but once they learned that I had alot of herp experience they added reptiles to my daily routine. Over the years I have been either directly responsible for, handled, kept, or otherwise studied many different species of snakes. As previously stated my true passion in the snake world is the large constrictors. I love snakes that get over 15 feet long.

Other Interests

There's other stuff to do other than work with reptiles?? Just kidding, I am currently in the process of starting a buisness building custom exotic enclosures. I specialize in snakes, lizards, and arachnid enclosures. So alot of my free time is taken up with that. Otherwise, I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend and my two wonderful children. I have a 10 month old son, who is showing signs of being very interested in snakes (YAY!!) And I also have my girlfriends 11 year old daughter (I think of her as my stepdaughter.) She too is showing a love of snakes and has actually assisted me in the daily cleaning routine of some balls, and small retics.

Metallica, Mushroomhead, Marilyn Manson, Rammstein, Dragon Force, VOS, Blue Felix, A Space Between, Hemlock, The Dubliners, Dropkick Murphy, Flatfoot 66, Stephen Lynch, etc. etc. etc. I do play a little bit of guitar, but I am not in a band of anykind at the moment.

I currently work as a Service Manager at a Motorcycle/ATV dealership, but I am currently working on my own buisness building enclosures. Also I am working out the details of a possible breeding co-op with a couple of people. Hoping to breed Asian Vines, and Retics.
