I have a Red Tail Boa, Jafar. He's a baby - 22inches. I feed him F/T food and handle him often. He's my buddy.

I have 2 dogs (Scooby and Lucy) and a lutino cockatiel (Harpy). Live-in boyfriend, Damien, who helps with the tending of the zoo.

I'm a newbie and act like one! I love my snake and he's so new and I rejoice at everything he does. Totally cheered him on when I saw him drinking. I'll cheer when he first poops and I'll bombard him with pictures during his first shed.
I love God's creatures but they were placed on earth for our benefit - whether to eat or to love. I, personally, HUMANELY kill Jafar's food with CO2 and freeze a couple at a time. I do not stun or feed live (just once to make sure he was healthy in his new environment).
