My Reptile Interests

As of right now I only keep Leopard Geckos because I live in a small apartment with my wife. This is my first herp project at home, but I have years of experience with herps. I was part of a research project through the University of Virginia that involved me collecting Eastern Garter snakes as well as Northern Water snakes (Thamnophis sirtalis and Nerodia sipedon respectively). I studied Biology in at Virginia Tech and am now working as a full time Reptile and Amphibian Keeper at the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center.
I absolutely LOVE field herping!

Currently working at the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center as a Reptile and Amphibian Keeper. I perform routine husbandry tasks for a variety of animals including: Tomistoma crocodiles, Komodo dragons, Egyptian cobras, Canebrake Rattlesnakes, Eastern Cottonmouths, Northern Copperheads, Fat-tailed scorpions, Malayan Leaf Frogs, Javan Hump-headed lizards, and a variety of others.
