My Reptile Interests
|
|
I have 18 snakes, 8 lizards, & 3 tortoises. My favorite reptiles are snakes. I currently have 5 red tail boas, 4 cornsnakes, 3 cal-kings, 2 rosy boas,1 coastal carpet python, 1pueblan milksnake, 1 rainbow boa, & 1 red blood python. In about 2 wks. my baby green tree python will come home. I have kept some kind of reptile most of my life. As a child I chased anything that ran or slithered past me. My mom did not share my love of snakes, so I didn't get into keeping them 'til I was grown.

Other Interests
|
|
Animals make up most of my interest. I also have 7 dogs, 2 chinchillas, 1 hedgehog, and 1 parakeet. That's about all my interest include. I love to go to reptile expos, but the closest one to me is still over 200 miles away. I only get to go once or twice a yr.

Music
|
|
I used to play lead guitar when I was 20 yrs. old with my sister & brother. I don't play much any more. My animals get my attention now! Most of the bands I like are no longer together, The Eagles, Lynerd Skynerd, The Monkeys.

Professional
|
|
I am a correctional Officer at a maximum security prison. I work 2nd shift, 4 on 4 off. I keep the same schedule as my snakes which makes it even more fun to enjoy them.

|
I like to interact with others who share a passion for reptiles-snakes in particular. I don't have any friends or coworkers who share my interest. Most folks I know are deathly afraid of snakes & won't come to my house because I keep them. They think my snakes run freely thru my home despite my assuring them that each one has its' own private & secure home.
