I have kept reptiles since I can remember. When I was 5 or 6 I saved a spadefoot toad from my cousins' dog. When I took it in to a local pet shop to get instructions on how to care for it it was taken away from me (endangered and protected herps are illegal to own and with me being so young I don't blame the guy.) He made the mistake of saying that I wouldn't be able to keep it alive and so I conned my mom into buying me a couple leopard frogs and a set up. A few years later the same guy who took away my toad taught me everything about any animal I wanted to care for and wound up not letting me buy a few things (at my mom's request.) I'm now 23 (on Nov 9th anyways) and still keeping reptiles, amphibians and other creatures. Almost 20 years!
As far as field herping goes, I occasionally go with some local reptile lovers to drive around our area and look at the semi-local herps. Anything from snakes and lizards to frogs and insects get their pics taken and get moved away from the road when we're out and about.

Other Interests

|
I am an avid lover of almost any type of animal. I used to train ride and train horses, I have Siberian Huskies, salt water reef aquariums and I even work at a local pet shop. Outside of animals I enjoy playing with my car, rollerblading, spending time at the beach and playing video games. World of Warcraft is my drug of choice currently and has been for the past 5 years.

This is a hard one, I like a LOT of different music from rock to trance. My only real dislikes are country and hardcore rap.

Movies
|
|
Memento, The Boondock Saints, V for Vendetta, Batman: The Dark Knight, Thank You For Smoking, The Departed amongst a variety of others. I like darker films with good character development, but sometimes you just need a comedy!

I am currently going to a university in order to get my bachelor's in Marketing. I also work at a Pet Shop where we specialize in reptiles, freshwater and saltwater fish.
