My Reptile Interests

I've kept reptiles since I was a sophomore in high school when my mom called me to come rescue a green iguana out of some guys basement. Poor thing was living off of lettuce and no UV lights. It just went from there. I've had iguanas, beardies, cresties, gargoyles, Nigerian uromastyx and chameleons.

Go on my ipod and you can find anything from Janis Joplin and Grateful Dead to Brad Paisley, Florida Georgia Line, Jimmy Buffett and Eric Church to Metallica, Marilyn Manson, System of a Down and Slipknot to Eminem, 2Pac, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dog to all points in between those I named.

I am a registered veterinary technician (RVT) at a small animal hospital in WV. After graduating Vet Tech school I did attempt to go back to get my bachelors in Biology but had to withdraw due to unforeseen circumstances. I would absolutely love to go back to get my bachelors, my ultimate goal in life is to work in wildlife rehabilitation. I would also love to educate the general public on the wonders of the reptile world.

I am a mom of 2 beautiful little girls, ages 7 and 9 (going on 16). Reptiles aren't my only passion, I'm a dog lover as well. I have 4 dogs; a Great Dane, a French Bulldog/Boston terrier "designer dog", and 2 original "designer dogs" aka "pound puppies."
