My Reptile Interests

I started as a kid like I think everyone else has. Catching salamanders and turtles, hunting snakes, buying those little chameleons at the fair that never lasted more than a day or two.
As an adult I've always loved reading and learning about them. The way they live and their hunting habits etc... I wanted a plated lizard at first but, after being introduced to Bearded Dragons and reading about them I got my first beardie last year and my second about 6 weeks later. I always wanted a snake so I've read about them for years. I was on the fence between a Ball Python, Cornsnake or a Kingsnake. I found my Jungle Cornsnake, that turned out to be an Eastern Milk Snake, on craigslist and actually had it given to me for free. The previous parent was just happy to hear it was going to a good home and that I had learned everything I could about them.

Other Interests

I enjoy hiking, fishing, mt. biking, training dogs.... just generally being outside. I love playing my PS3 and enjoying a cold beer after a long night of work.. usually my beardie Jabs is hanging out on my shoulder watching me play.

I LOVE HEAVY MUSIC!!! Metal, progressive rock, hard rock etc... Avenged Sevenfold, Slipknot, Slayer, Dream Theater, Metallica, Megadeth, Ozzy, Black Sabbath, among many others.

Movies
|
|
The Boondock Saints 1&2, Shaun Of The Dead, Hot Fuzz, V for Vendetta, Avatar, That Last Airbender, Zombieland, All of the George Romero zombie series, anything with Bruce Campbell. I love horror flicks the most but I enjoy a good comedy or sci-fi flick every now and then.
