My Reptile Interests
I have a variety of reptiles here but they are all free and wild. There is one gopher snake that has been here for the last ten years and he is getting very large,every year he shows up just after the first warm days.There are also King snakes,Red Racers,Garters, Rattlers, Alligator and Blue Belly lizards but only the King snakes have been known to live in the house.We even have Horn toads,Tarantulas,Ferrets,Skinks and Scorpions. Although the scorpions are not welcome in the house as the others are.They are too hard to train.
Other Interests
I also enjoy hiking,water skiing,scuba,gardening,writing,Classic Cars and the most important interest in my life has always been the welfare and support of those very few special people whom I love dearly and have a permanent place in my heart.
Music
Ever since I stood among the Doors and they signed for me the first autographs that they ever signed on one of their records(before the world even knew they existed), I've been a die hard rocker although as i've grown I've found that other styles have intense quality if listened to in the proper frame of mind. Everything from Beethoven to country music deserves respect and shouldn't be passed over lightly as you just might find it becoming one of your personal favorites over time.Theres a reason some music has lasted over three hundred years! Listen now and then.
Movies
My favorites are generally the classic comedies. I also appreciate well done emotional people stories(usually refered to as chic flix) and some musicals if the music fills my senses and puts me in right mood. The Music Man covers all three and shouldn't be missed.
Professional
I'm sort of retired but what does that mean? It seems that the work a day world was easier when you could go home at the end of the day. I still invest which isn't fun and games nowadays but seven years of college gave me the edge that I've wisely used to keep from having to punch a clock anymore. Although I have been known to punch other things now and then,especially during those times when the markets change so dramatically that you could lose your shirt while its still on your back. I usually take it out on a wall being that I'm remodeling something or other constantly, it helps and saves time too. Multi-tasking is what I call it.
Anything else?
I believe that this country needs to diverge its way of life and what is commonly referred to as Alternative energies is one field which demands much more everyday use. I was designing and building electric vehicles as early as 1973 and have a current project to convert a Classic Corvette to battery power with a motor that will still allow it to drag race. There is absolutely no need for oil anymore and only the economics have stopped the development of the over abundance energy sources that literally grow on trees.
