My Reptile Interests

My boyfriend and I currently have 2 ball pythons ,a blood python, a leopard gecko, and a river cooter turtle. I have owned reptiles on and off for the past 7 years. Mostly owning small lizards ( anoles, house geckos,etc.) and a box turtle. We have both always wanted snakes and got 3 of them last year. We are looking to eventual breed them. For the past 8 years or so I have raised and shown rabbits. I know from experience how rewarding and fun it can be to be involved in an animal project. Genetics alone are fascinating to me. We eventually plan on getting into breeding ball pythons, but for now are just adding to our collection.

I am a fulltime student at the University of Washington on an academic scholarship I received in highschool. I am completing a bachelors in medical anthropology and soon will be starting to take courses to satisfy an additional degree in biology.
