My Reptile Interests
|
|
I keep all types of reptiles from Leopard Geckos to Pythons and Boas. I have been keeping reptiles for my whole life on and off but i really got into the world of Herpetology and Herpetoculture about six years ago when I got my Bearded Dragon (Irwin.) I love field herping but I wish I could do it more, (Michigan doesn't offer the greatest herping diversity) but whenever I go on vacation that is the first thing on my mind.

I dont really do much outside of reptiles and animals, they are pretty much my life and passion, but i do enjoy just hanging out with my friends and getting to know new people.

Music

|
I dont really have a favorite band I more just to a lot of different songs by a lot of different artists. I also play acoustic guitar, I am not great by any means but I enjoy playing and learning new songs.

Movies
|
|
Favorite movies would have to be The Fast and Furious series because I love cars and the actors.

I am currently attending Schoolcraft College for my prerequisites and will be transferring to Bowling Green State University in the fall of 2012 to pursue a Bachelors degree in Conservation and Education with a specialization in Herpetology. I also work 3 jobs I work at Petsmart as a Pet Care Specialist (Trying to teach proper pet husbandry), I also work at the Toledo Zoo as an Animal Demonstrator teaching groups of people all about zoo animals through hands on experiences and last but not least I work for an elderly women caring for her reptiles.

Not only do I work at the zoo, but I have been volunteering there for the past seven years and have that the zoo to credit for my great passion for herpetology.
