My Reptile Interests
|
|
I have kept and studied Reptiles and Amphibians from the age of 11, after catching my first Speckled King Snake (Lampropeltis g. ho0lbrooki), upon moving to a new home in the country. I have field herped in Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida, Illinois, Texas, Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, Vancouver BC Canada, Bangkok Thailand, and Tokyo Japan. My primary interests lie in Asiatic Rat Snakes, and most South and Central American Colubrids. Also have a passion for South American elapids (Micrurus sp), altho I no longer keep these animals in captivity. My current favorites are Spilotes pullatus- all ssp., Orthriophis taeniura ridleyi, and all specimens of Drymarchon, especially the Eastern Indigo Snake. In the near future, I intend to breed all of these animals, as well as add several species to my collection.

I am an artist, musician, painter, writer, and occasional sculpter. In addition to these extracurricular indulgences, I am an altruist, theosophist, kabbalist and occult initiate. I enjoy spotting ufo's, studying the paranormal, and some small degree of political activism.
