My Reptile Interests
|
|
We keep rosy boas, leopard geckos, crested geckos, and an assortment of other lizards and larger snakes. We have some great larger boas and pythons and 2 ravenous false water cobras.
Patrick got his first snake (a cal king) when he was 5 and his first rattlesnake (a northern pacific) when he was 13. He has been keeping herps for ~23 years.
Mikki got her "first" snake (a garter snake) when she was ~10 and again when she turned 21 (a corn snake). Mikki has been keeping herps for ~6 years (unless you count the garter :).
We love to field herp and have herped in California and Arizona extensively. We have also herped in Mexico, Baja California, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Georgia, Mississippi, and Florida. We've done some herping in Washington, although herping here is not what it was in the Southwest.

Other Interests
|
|
Field herping! Hiking, camping, backpacking, kayaking, birding, photography, watercolor, sketching, jewelry making, traveling, and hanging out with friends and watching movies.
We also breed and sell TARANTULAS and FRUIT FLY CULTURES.

Music
|
|
We like classic rock, 80's rock, alternative and 90's rock, some modern rock, classical, "Broadway", and "international" music. Mikki also likes country, rap, punk, and ska.

Movies
|
|
We like independent films, documentaries, British comedies, fantasy films, and some dramas and comedies (how vague, I know). We tend to NOT like Blockbuster hits (i.e., Fast and the Furious type movies), although we love Marvel Comic adaptations.
Mikki's favorite movies of all time in Pride and Prejudice and Anne of Green Gables.

We are both wildlife biologists and budding entrepreneurs. We met at and attended UC Davis together. Mikki is looking for a job. :P
