Overview
I introduced Rose and Kasper tonight around 11:12pm and they didn't waste any time. They started to mate at 11:15pm April 20, 2011 and lasted for 39 minutes. This is the first breeding between Rose and Kasper. As of May 15, 2011 Rose shed her skin and should be ready to lay her eggs within the next 7 days. Since she just shed her skin, I can feel some eggs and have counted at least 14 of them inside her. I'm very nervous and very excited and can't wait to see what her eggs will come out like. She's stretched out a good amount as of now and hope to see her stretch out some more before she lays her eggs becaouse I know if she does she will more than likely lay some good eggs for me. She's a very healthy 3 yr old and weighs a good 447 grams. I can't wait.. On May 22, 2011 Rose layed 19 beautiful healthy looking eggs and one slug. I am so proud of her. Good job Rose! Eggs are still looking good at day 52, July 12, 2011! I'm getting so excited.

Fed Rose to small hopper mice. She didn't try to get away from Kasper basically as soon as I put them together they started to mate.

Rose is defiantely looking gravid!! She's stretching a good amount already, even though I acutally can't feel any eggs inside fo her at this time I think she is most likely gravid.

Rose has laid 12 beautiful healthy eggs so far tonight. She ofcourse did it when I was working so sometime between 6pm-9:30 pm tonight. They are all looking really nice. I'm so happy! She does have more to lay so I will be keeping an eye on her for the rest of the night.

Half way there! It's been 32-33 days since Rose laid 19 beautiful healthy eggs. They are all looking very good still and started to get a little bit bigger in size. I've been doing very well to leave them alone this time around, not picking them up or handling them at all and just peaking in the incubator every so often to check temps. The temps have really steadied out and have stayed a safe 79-82 degrees F..mainly staying just 81 degrees. So I am very thrilled, and excited.

Rose's eggs are still looking really good, but they should be starting to hatch any freaking day now, it's technically day 61 and still no signs of pipping. I sure hope it's gonna happen soon, cause my nerves are shot on this waiting deal. I can't take much more of it, that's for sure. So please eggs , hatch soon.
