Robbie is a 1-2 yr old ball python that I deemed a rescue after I realized that he had a Respiratory Infection.
He had some shed stuck to his face and neck area and I decided to give him a bath.
I had also noticed some "blockage" on his nose, and thought it was shed as well.
When I gave him a warm bath (to help get the shed off), I immediately noticed the wheezing and 'head lifting' that is common with RI's.
Taking him to the vet one afternoon on a whim, he was diagnosed and is still being treated with some antibacterials in a "paste' form that the vet gave me (since we live four hours away from the vet she wanted to have me not going back and forth spending the gas money n whatnot).
Anyway, hes been doing better and is still active, but ive discovered after his last shed (which needed extreme help from myself), that he is blind in one eye.
The eye I believe is completely damaged, as it never looks "normal" and he is displaying things like surprise and startles when people suddenly 'appear' in his line of vision when he should have seen them coming.
