Saille is correct, this is G. marginata or a halmahera gecko. Breeders label it "vorax" because the importers call it that. True vorax are incredibly rare, and I would expect to sell in the thousands(though there have not been any for sale in many years now). He's a very pretty boy! I have four myself, they're one of my favorite underrated species!

ya know, i wondered about that. ive read up about that a while back but nobody thats selling them seems to really know anything about them, and everywhere i see them its always vorax or halmahera. thanks, and yea he got me right out of the tub but i was expecting it, guy said he was aggressive.

Cute gecko, but its not a vorax, (they're very often mis-labelled as vorax) its a Gehyra marginata! :) I love these though. I have a big fat female. Yours looks like it tagged you good! My Clawdie has never bitten me!
