Comments:	I will never forget the impact that the Tumbes Peru had on me the first time I saw one on Vin Russo's site (CuttingEdgeHerp). I though then as I do now that these boas are some of the most striking and beautiful of all the boas I have seen. The contrast and variable color and patterns are remarkable. I went to the 2011 Repticon show in Pensacola and Reno's Reptiles was there... he had been selling off the remainder of his stock because he was not going to breed any longer( he was going to concentrate on doing educational shows instead). Lucian was shy and reluctant to be handled in the beginning but warmed up quickly. He is definitely the most unusual of my group in his habits. He won't eat anything bigger than a med rat and he won't eat until he's absolutely ready. He always soaks in his water (even though his humidity is good) right before a shed and he prefers cooler temps than the 90 degree standard.
