Comments:	My big baby, Henry is a 6 yr old 55 lb eating, pooping, destruction machine! He came to use from a pet store that couldn't take care of him. They let the big birds (parrots) ride around on him and then didn't clean him up very well so he developed an infection. That is why his shell is deformed, and it will never grow back. Henry eats a lot of grass in my yard, fresh vegetables, carrots are his favorite and a little fruit now and then. He can consume up to 5 lbs of food in one day and give it back as well. He takes up about 1/8 of my yard in the summer and lives in a wading pool in my bonus room in the winter. He is only about half of his potential grown size right now. My grandchildren will be taking care of Henry.

Oh My God. Henry breaks my heart. You are a hero for giving him a home. I have a few rescue snakes, but I'm just not equipped for a big tort. A friend of mine rescued one and I've learned a lot from him about how much work it is. I applaud you!

I know all about the "giving back" part It seems that they give back more than they take sometimes. By far the most work of all my herps. Also one of the most rewarding
