Comments:	-12/14/2023 - Long term captive. Has completed all quarantine measures. She is eating mice regularly but the paper tracking needs to be gone through and put in. -Wild Caught in family basement. Said family is scared to death of snakes and would have killed it if I had not been there. This small snake has very blue gray dorsal whereas I'm used to seeing yellow, tan, cream dorsal on these. He/she also exhibits more dark grays and blacks on the belly and sides. Will take photos after it sheds for me. Is eating worms and small lizards well. Might try to keep it long term and switch it over to mice. -As of February 14th 2022 was probed female. I (Terra) have had 100% success on probing other colubrids including corns, rats, and king snakes. Not as much experience with garters though. Probe went in one and a half to two scales so looks very very female to me. -Will start protozoan dewormer Oct. 2nd and this will last for 3 weeks of treatment. Update: Protozoan dewormer finished as of Oct. 25th. -Fenbendazole dewormer started Oct. 11th and this will last for 3 weeks of meals. Update: due to refusing meals only 2 treatments of fenbendazole were able to be given. Fenbendazole deworming will be halted until the garter starts eating long term again. Its feces look good and clean though. -Switched easily over to frozen thawed mice as of Oct. 3rd 2021. -Mite preventative/bath treatments completed.
