Comments:	I bought this beautiful girl as a holdback yearling from Jason Stevens in 2009. Her sire is his beautiful Sorong boy Banin, from the "Divis Red Sorong" line (Ondrej Divis, Czech Republic). Her dam was a huge (2200 grams) hormonal blue Aru. When Jason first made these available (at a very reasonable price) none of them sold. Then to his surprise, several of them began to develop melanism, even some of the yellow juvies. One of the reds went almost solid black. Another developed some really nice blue early on. This girl had a good amount of black, but she's lost most of it. She has however gained some very nice blue. I find it very cool and interesting that even though she has patterning more like a yellow southern type (the Aru influence showing), with no dorsal striping, she has still developed a killer blue wash down her spine. I am anxious to breed her in the '12/'13 season. I have a couple of cool ideas for her, such as Cisco and my Aru male.
