Comments:	This is Joakim (Soria) the Snake. :) He is a hatchling ('08) Black Milk Snake. I had been wanting a Black Milk for about a year now, and I finally got him as a birthday present this year. I named him Joakim (Soria) after the Kansas City Royals' closer. It's definitely a theme for me already. :) Joakim and his clutch-mates were laid on July 7th, they started pipping on September 17th/18th, and they were out of their eggs on September 21st. I just wanted to say one thing about the breeder I got him from. His name is Dave Niles of DNS Reptiles, and he was an absolutely awesome person to deal with. Joakim was my first internet reptile/snake purchase, and Dave made it a smooth transaction from the get-go. He couldn't have been nicer, and I really appreciate(d) everything that he's done for me. He made sure to answer any questions I had for him in a timely matter, he put me on a waiting list for a Black Milk, and he even went as far as letting me pick out my own hatchling from a picture. (That unfortunately didn't work out because it was a non-feeder. He picked out the next best thing, though, and I am completely 100% happy about it.) His prices are significantly better than other Black Milk breeders. (i've seen them in other places for anywhere between $35 - 50+ more than I paid for mine.) He is an absolute awesome person, and I definitely recommend Dave to anybody that wants a really good quality milk snake.

Joakim Soria looks AWESOME! He seems to be 2-3 inches longer than Shazam. I also note that he tends to be MUCH darker when blue. I know I've said it before, but I'll say it here too... CONGRATS on him!

Dave is terrific. He was invariably my go-to guy when I was more seriously into milk snakes. I'm now getting out of colubrids almost entirely, but I've actually ordered one of these too! I've been on his waiting list since the summer. They're just such phenomenal snakes... We'll have to swap pictures when mine arrives!
