Observed Copulation Copulation with Sancho
02/26/16
Introduced Male Introduced Sancho Sancho showed immediate interest. He's been moving his tail into position and at one point they had their tails wrapped but behind the hide so I could not confirm a lock. I will leave him in there for at least a week to see if I can confirm a lock.

Comments Not much to report They have been together for 2 months and they seem to not be bothered by each other. I have not witnessed a lock. I have left them alone other than changing the water for up to a couple weeks. Every once in a while I will peak into their hide to see if anything is going on. Unfortunately, nothing to exciting to report. Starla was out and about earlier this week and still looked nice and plump. In retrospect, I wish I would have weighed her prior to Kido's introduction.

Introduced Male Introduced [JCP-M-001] Kido Reintroduced Kido and they have been cuddling a lot.

Removed Male Removed [JCP-M-001] Kido They were apart from each other for nearly 24 hours. Starla was basking under the RHP for most of the evening and day. Kido went off and stayed in the hide on the cool side of the cage. Decided to remove him for a few days to see if that sparks some interest.

Comments Cuddle Friends They have spent a lot of time together in the hide and do not appear to be annoyed with the each other. Did not witness any copulation.

Introduced Male Introduced [JCP-M-001] Kido Kido was definitely intrigued by her. She appeared to be acting shy but dropped/wrapped her rear tail section on top of Kido within 15 minutes of introducing them. He was not interested and went on to explore her cage. He came back and started smelling her again. She uncoiled her tail and placed it in a receptive position for him to get to it. He clearly has no clue what he's doing.

Refused Food Refused Food She looked interested/hungry but refused. She came up to the rat multiple times. It was a f/k rats. I ended up soaking it in hot water hoping to induce a strike.
