Cain died ...

Hey Guys, I'm so sad ... Cain died a few days ago. John found him when he went over to feed today. He must have been been dead a few days because his body has already started to liquify. I am so BLOWN over this. He was so pretty and I had some awesome breeding plans for next season. I took him to the vet for his RI. I have no clue what I did wrong .... I feel bad, even though I realistically know that crap happens.

	OH NO! I am so sorry to see this, Mo. You did nothing wrong. You treated him and followed the vet's instructions. I am so so sorry.

	That really sucks. :( RI is a bad diagnosis, often they die regardless of the proper treatment. You did everything you could, you just didnt win this one. I'm sorry for your loss, that was a tough one.

	Oh no!! I'm so sorry Mo! I agree with Julie: RI's usually have a guarded prognosis. I really had my hopes up that he would come around for you though!! You certainly seemed to catch it fast & as best as I can tell you did everything right.

	I'm so sorry to hear of Cain's passing. You did everything you could for him, and you did things the right way, so take solace in the fact that you gave him the best care you could.

	Thanks for all the sympathy guys. It's a very rough one for me. He was just so unique! But ... he's in a better place and at least he's not suffering anymore. I'm just praying that Corona stays healthy since she was shipping in the same box as Cain.

	GOOD NEWS: I just got an email from the breeder and he said he will replace Cain with a similar size/age animal OR give me a store credit . Plus, he's gonna send me a check to cover the vet bill also. Hopefully this will all be cleared up soon!!
