My Reptile Interests
|

I have kept snakes for 12 years now, but have been interested in them since I was 4. I have always had ratsnakes up until the last 2 years, when I purchased a pair of KSB's. I have since then adopted 2 Ball Pythons, and acquired a GTP.
The Ball Pythons and GTP have gained a large share of my favor, but I still love ratsnakes and other colubrids. I would like to acquire a Taiwan Beauty Snake or a Vietnamese Blue Beauty.
I don't actively do any field herping, but I'm the unofficial 'snake guy' at the school where I teach. I get questions on 6-7 snake identification per school year.

I teach, coach girls' basketball, play video games, ride scooters, and am a husband, and father of 2 boys (5 and 3). My 5 year old has had at least one snake in his room since he was 2.
