My Reptile Interests

In the past I've owned three corn snakes. I've learned the hard way that corns are great escape artist and I've joined this site to learn as much as possible before I get another snake so I don't loose another friend.

I appreciate any info on corn snakes and keeping them. I plan to raise mice and adopt an older corn if possible. Right now I'm in the process of building a new lid on my existing tank.
Some questions I have
- what's a good sealer to use on wood in homemade enclosures
- can they eat goldfish or mollies
- how long do you let your new snake settle in before regular holding
